OUR STORY

Building a troop from the ground up.

Troop 9546 is a brand-new co-ed Family Troop chartered by VFW Post 9546 in Hayfork, California. We are building something special for the youth of our community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to use the world-class wilderness right outside our back door to teach character, grit, and practical life skills.

Scouting is not a casual after-school club. It is an active partnership between adult volunteers, parents, and youth. We are building a foundation that will shape confident, self-reliant leaders.

Core Values

  • Youth-led program with real responsibility
  • Monthly outdoor adventures and skill-building
  • Strict Leave No Trace ethics
  • Accessibility — no youth turned away for cost
  • Strong two-deep leadership and Youth Protection
AS OF JUNE 25, 2026
